Waterise has developed a patented production system for subsea reverse-osmosis desalination. Waterise’ solution is a game changer in the desalination industry : reduces energy consumption, the single largest cost component in terrestrial desalination, by approx. 50%, eliminaties the need for costly pre-treatment of sea water, eliminates the use of chemicals, provides higher availability for the customers and reduces coastal land usage by approx.. 80%. The technology is proven and Waterise works to conclude the first full-scale facility.
