Trafficking is a gigantic global problem. Human trafficking is one of the trades with the largest global turnover together with trade in drugs and trade in arms. Trafficking is also an extremely well organised trade where people are being transported between countries and continents to make it more difficult to trace the people who have been abducted. To counter this highly professional criminal networking, there is need for a coordinated and global response. In this seminar you will listen to people who are involved in fighting human trafficking from different angles; Government, international development cooperation and local civil society.
