BW Epic Kosan is an LPG and petrochemical carrier company established on the back of a merger agreement between Epic Gas and Lauritzen Kosan entered in late 2020. BW Group remained the majority shareholder and currently controls 58% of the outstanding shares. BW Epic Kosan is headquartered in Singapore and listed on Euronext Growth.

The primary focus of the company has been on high-quality pressurized LPG carriers in the smaller segment. The fleet consists of vessel with capacities between 3,000 and 12,000 cbm. Today, the company is the largest owner and operator in the sector. The company has 48 pressurized, 19 ethylene, and 9 semi-refrigerated vessels. In alignment with its growth strategy, BW Epic Kosan recently signed an agreement to acquire two second-hand 9,000 LPG/ammonia/ethylene capable carriers from Odfjell SE. They are expected to be delivered within October 2021.
