Havfram is a Norwegian based provider of subsea, engineering, procurement, construction, and installation solutions. The company was founded in 2011 under the name Ocean Installer AS. Originally, Havfram was an Oil & Gas focused company but announced its entry into offshore wind in June 2020 with the appointment of Even Larsen as director of offshore wind. In December 2020 the company announced its name-change to Havfram, reflecting the company’s commitment to offshore wind. The company is currently unlisted, and its major shareholder is HitecVision. Havfram is headquartered in Stavanger, Norway.

The company focuses on three main business areas: Hav Dyp, Hav Vind and Hav Kraft. Hav Dyp includes marine and subsea operations, and offers subsea construction competence including the whole range from FEED to fabrication and installation, and full EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and installation) services. Hav Vind focuses on offshore wind turbine installation globally, working with ship designer VARD to develop installation vessels. Hav Kraft aims to provide both consulting services to offshore wind farms and offshore wind development. Havfram’s business model is relatively asset light, and it leases the vessels it uses for its projects, lately Solstad offshore’s Normand Vision (CSV) and Eidesvik’s Viking Neptun (CSV).
