Dorian LPG is the second largest listed LPG owner and operator. The company entered the LPG market in 2002 by acquiring two pressurized vessels. Today, it has a fleet of 22 VLGC, with 20 of them being modern ECO-designed. The total capacity of the fleet is 1.8 million cbm and the average age of the fleet is 6.1 years, well below the global VLGC average of ~10 years.

As of Q2’21, the company’s drydocking and scrubber upgrade program is completed. After the two last ships left the shipyards in late Q2, twelve of the fully owned VLGCs are scrubber equipped. Dorian LPG has spent nearly USD 200m on buybacks over the last two years. These were found accretive due to the share’s significant discount to NAV. In August 2021, the company announced its first ever cash dividend of USD 1/share.
