ABL-Group is a public holding company engaged in marine and offshore operations. Through its subsidiaries and associates, ABL offers adjusting, marine, offshore and renewables consultancy services to the maritime, energy and insurance industries. The company was established in 2012. In June 2019, Aqualis acquired Braemar’s Offshore, Marine and Adjusting business lines, creating a leading adjusting, marine, offshore and renewable consultancy. In December 2020, AqualisBraemar acquired LOC Group who operated in the same industry segments, effectively doubling the size of the company. With the acquisition they changed name to ABL-Group, creating a company with 922 employees in 62 offices in 38 countries globally. ABL is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

ABL consists of three major segments: consulting and engineering, loss prevention and loss management. Through the acquisition of LOC and Braemar, ABL has created a broad range of brands operating under distinct names: Offshore Wind consultants, offering project consultancy and engineering expertise directed toward offshore renewables. East point Geo, Geo-consultants supporting all sectors. Innosea, engineering directed towards marine renewable energy. John LeBourhis & Associates (JLA), offering rig moving, risk control and surveying. Longitude, engineering for marine, renewables, oil and gas and offshore infrastructure. Finally, ABL Yachts offers superyacht surveyors and consultants.
