Kongsberg Gruppen is a global technology corporation delivering critical solutions for customers that operate under challenging conditions. The company is divided into three business areas: Kongsberg Maritime (KM), Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA) and Kongsberg Digital (KDI). Its history dates from 1814 and the company has been listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange since 1993 with the Norwegian state as majority shareholder (~50%).

The last year has been eventful for the company, signing milestone contracts to bring the order backlog to about NOK 40bn by end of Q2. In addition, the company has integrated Commercial Marine (acquired from Rolls Royce) ahead of expectations and realizing cost savings more than anticipated, along with firming up KDI’s potential. Kongsberg Gruppen targets to grow at or above the market and exceed NOK 30bn in revenues, at the same time improve profitability and deliver EBITDA margins above 14% by 2022.
