Hibiscus Petroleum is an independent oil and gas production and exploration company, with focus on the UK, Malaysia and Australia. Hibiscus listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities, Malaysia.

Hibiscus’ main producing asset is a 50% working interest and operatorship of the North Sabah EOR PSC, covering several producing fields offshore Malaysia. North Sabah accounted for ~71% of Hibiscus’ net production in H1’21. In addition, Hibiscus has working interests in a number of producing, development and exploration assets in the Anausuria and Marigold clusters, located on the UK continental shelf, and the Bass Strait Cluster offshore Australia. In total, Hibiscus’ portfolio covers eight producing fields, five discovered fields, and two exploration licenses. The company had an aggregate net production of 9,107 boepd in H1’21, and 2P reserves and 2C resources of 45.8 mmbbl and 87 mmbbl, respectively, as of January 2021.

After completing a series of production enhancement projects in its Malaysia operations, Hibiscus will shift its focus on longer term development projects in the North Sabah. Hibiscus is actively evaluating opportunities for field life extension of stranded oil discoveries around the Anausuria FPSO.
