The Signal Group is a privately held company, established in 2014. The company has offices in London and Athens (HQ). The Signal Group offers commercial ship management services to a pool of oil and product tankers, in addition to developing the next generation shipping related software technologies.

The Signal Group consists of Signal Maritime Services and Signal Ocean. Signal Maritime Services is focused on high-performance sustainable commercial management and the creation of innovative pooling models by combining shipping best practice with internet-aged advanced analytics and management methods. Signal Ocean is the technology arm which has created the Signal Ocean Platform, allowing charterers, brokers, and shipowners to securely process, aggregate, analyze and interrogate a complex array of private and public shipping data powered by sophisticated machine learning and artificial intelligence technology.
