Torm is a pure play product tanker company and one of the leading product carriers globally. The company is over 130 years old and was listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange in 1905. It did a secondary listing in 2017 on Nasdaq. Torm’s largest shareholder is Oaktree Capital.

The company’s fleet consists of 85 vessels as of Q2’21 (including five yet to be delivered). The operating fleet as of Q2’21 included ten LR2s, nine LR1s, 57 MRs, and two handysizes. In 2020, Torm’s fleet had an annual efficiency ratio (AER) of 5.24, with a target of 4.04 by 2030.

The company has no substantial maturities in the coming years, which, combined with a solid capital structure, should pave the way for dividends being prioritized.
