Leclanche is a provider of high-quality energy storage solutions. The technology is based on lithium-ion cell technology. Founded in 1909, the company holds over 100 years of experience within batteries and energy storage. The company is the only publicly traded, pure play energy storage company in the world, and is listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange.

Leclanche’s in-house technologies cover the full value chain. Core operating units consist of stationary solutions, e-transport solutions, and Special Battery Systems. A build-own-operate business line has been established for selected Stationary Solutions projects with a long-term power purchase agreement and/or offtake agreement with local customers. Its battery and module production facilities are in Germany and Switzerland.
