Intelligent digitalization technology for the heating sector Utställare
Presentation
District heating is one of Sweden’s traditional industries, having daily impact on society. It heavily relies on human experience, bringing challenges to stakeholders: housing companies struggle to deliver promised comfort to tenants. Utility companies have limited visibility on customer demand and sub-optimal network operation. At peak times, heat and power plants run at a stretch which is detrimental for economy and the environment. This research deploys AI to create value without modifying existing infrastructure. The intelligent system learns from building data in real time and predicts what will happen before it happens. Hence, it optimally manages operation towards designated comfort, cost, and sustainability, whilst freeing up space for critical electricity generation by utility providers. A win-win-win-win for society, industry, economy, and the environment. The solution is tested in full industrial setting; now striving for city-scale application and commercialization.Kategori:
