The 5G cellular technology is being increasingly utilized in many industrial applications. An important functionality is the advanced Quality of Service (QoS) feature. Despite the research in 5G QoS, there is notable absence of real-life industrial research directions and implementations. Thus, we present methodologies for improving the utility of 5G technology in time-critical applications, along with fully Edge integration for allowing dynamic resource allocations for creating the future 6G.
