Superlab is an experimental design laboratory on a mission to change the future work environment and study the furniture design of tomorrow. In 2016, they gathered all of their knowledge and collected research studies in the book Playful office, the future office philosophy that will turn employees into emplayees. This year, they’re set to release the sequel.
During the past 4 years the crew at Superlab have been working on their second book – “Disruptive Future”. Together and with other experts they dive head first into the connections between the psychological, physiological and digital worlds of our time and philosophize about this hazy, fickle and fast approaching future.
For a decade Superlab has continually read research reports, followed different kinds of studies, trends, analyzed data from social phenomena, visited pioneering companies and gathered information from various relevant sources. On several occasions, they even carried through their own studies, e.g. for the purpose of getting a better understanding about a specific work setting or a movement. All of this has contributed to valuable insights that supported their work with clients, partners and friends immensely. The book Disruptive Future came to be as a result of their wish to share what they learned along the way.
