The SEE is a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified hardware platform which allows you to seamlessly create a safe haven for any given application that you consider requires this level of protection. Be it protecting your IP from industrial espionage, achieving compliance, or just because of the fact that you can't trust the environment in which your application has to be deployed.
The PrimeKey SEE Workshop will cover:
- The general concept of the SEE and a brief discussion of use cases for the SEE
- Introduction to the operation and security features of the SEE, including the Random Number Generator
- Installation of an application within a Virtual Machine and then installation of the Virtual Machine on the SEE
- Introduction to the operational states of the SEE
- Using the Web based User Interface to monitor, configure and manage virtual machines

Oreste was originally from Perth Western Australia and moved to Aachen Germany a few years ago. He has been working with PrimeKey in Aachen/Germany since 2016. Oreste has a PhD in mathematics and has been working in the IT sector for the last 20 years. Someone a few years ago, suggested that a mathematician would be a good fit for building a highly secure Server for protecting data and secrets.
The outcome of the combination of IT background and mathematics was the SEE (secure Execution Environment). He is passionate about IT security in general, and specifically about how to
use his maths and IT knowledge to enhance the SEE.
