Åsa Persson, Deputy Director of the Stockholm Environmental InstituteDr Åsa Persson is Research Director and Deputy Director of the Stockholm Environment Institute, where she is a member of the executive team and leads the development and implementation of the institute’s research strategy. As a social scientist and governance scholar, her research currently focuses on policy coherence in the national implementation of climate policy and SDGs.Her previous research has looked at environmental governance as international and national levels, including follow-up and review of the SDGs, global governance of climate change adaptation, environmental policy integration, and development of the planetary boundaries concept.
