A key aspect of being a sustainable business is incorporating environmental and social considerations into decision-making. The wider perspective this brings in relation to business impacts and value creation motivates us to think differently to develop innovative and creative solutions. Sustainability challenges such as waste and climate change present large scale opportunities. For example, addressing the global waste challenge through circularity is estimated to be a US$4.5 trillion opportunity by 2030 according to Accenture; meanwhile Deloitte estimates that actions to achieve net-zero could grow the global economy by US$43 trillion over the next 50 years.
