In 2021, Indonesia and Sweden signed a joint statement agreeing to collaborate and develop a roadmap for a blue economy as a source of economic growth. 

This focus group will explore concrete opportunities for collaboration between Swedish and Indonesian stakeholders, aside from PLN, within the field of ocean energy. Potential off takers will include actors from the fishery industry, tourism industry, industrial estate industry and more.
