With its 6,000 inhabited islands, a rapidly growing middle class, and a population with increasing access to health insurance, it is readily apparent that the supply of high-quality healthcare in Indonesia must meet a growing demand from a wide array of customers in the country; and at the same time compete with global market. Finding creative ways to deliver improved health services at the regional level will help the government meet its goal of delivering good quality health care across the country.

This session aims to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted to strengthen the resilience of Indonesia’s healthcare, develop modernized hospitals and implement digital transformation.
