Pryme is a chemical recycler of plastic waste and specialises in scaling the pyrolysis process. The company was founded in 2008 and has further developed and optimized the pyrolysis process through many years of research. As a result, the company has a strong position to capitalize on the growing plastic waste problem, where increased regulatory actions will benefit the industry. The company is headquartered in Netherlands and was listed on Euronext Growth Oslo in February 2021.

The final product of the pyrolysis process, pyrolysis oil, is expected to be sold as recycled material. Pryme’s initial plant in Rotterdam is progressing as planned and expected to commence production in 2022 with 175 mT/day of capacity. Successful commercial production will likely be followed by a rapid expansion of additional plants in Europe, and the company is already planning to build another facility in Rotterdam with 1,200 mT/day of capacity.
