BEEs pollinate 90% of flora, 80% of crops, 35% of our food.
Yet, half of BEEs spices are in decline, 25% in danger of extintion.
If BEEs disappear, we disappear.
WE live if the BEE lives.
This is where our name WEBEE comes from.

WEBEE makes eyewear with the company mission to aid BEEs:
- producing eco-friendly eyewear
- donating 10% of turnover to projects that support the BEEs.

WEBEE eyewear and its packaging are Designed and Made in Italy.

WEBEE is eco-friendly because:

The frame is made of Hexetate, 100% recyclable, phthalates free, solvents free, plasticizers free, does not need to be varnished, the production process has a 10-15% energy saving.

The demo lens is made with recycled acrylic, it is 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable.

The sun lens is 41% bio-based and 59% fossil based, it is 100% recyclable.

The cardboard box is made of pulp from farmed trees under a controlled use of pesticides.
It is 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable.
The printing uses water ink, with no chemicals.

The case is made with 100% recycled PET (plastic bottles).
It is 100% recyclable.
It has a hot stamped logo with no ink.

The wiping cloth is polyester, 100% recyclable.

The polybag is made of polythene and 100% biodegradable.


WEBEE donates 10% to BEEs’ projects:

The mission of the company is to “aid the bees”.
10% of WEBEE net turnover is invested in projects benefitting the wellbeing of the bees.
The projects are selected by a Scientific Panel of three experts working in international organizations:
