Eivind Dale holds a MSC in Naval Architecture and Marin Technology from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Norway. Eivind has a position as senior principal consultant at DNV Maritime Advisory with more than 30 years of experience from a broad spectrum of advisory and research services for private and public organisations in maritime sector internationally, with a special focus on sustainable transport, decarbonization of shipping and zero and low emission solutions. He has a central role in the public-private Green Shipping Programme, a Norwegian public-private partnership programme with over 100 major players in the value chain involved. Eivind has a background as research director at MARINTEK/SINTEF, technology director at Novit and several positions in the offshore and shipping business. He has been working with the seafood industry for many years, in recent years with sustainability and decarbonization of the transport and logistics solutions.
