The Norwegian Seafood Council works alongside the Norwegian seafood industry to develop markets for Norwegian seafood through marketing and advertising, market insight and market access, and communications and PR. The company is also providing stakeholders nationally and globally with knowledge about Norwegian seafood.

We have a global presence, with 13 country representatives, from Rio de Janerio to Tokyo. The company’s head quarter is in Tromso, Norway – where our employees runs and supports operations in the markets.

The Norwegian seafood industry finances the activities of the Norwegian Seafood Council through fees levied on all exports of Norwegian seafood. We are a public company owned by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries.
