The MSC is an international non-profit organisation which sets a globally recognised, science-based standards for sustainable fishing and seafood traceability.

Our vision is for the world’s oceans to be teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for this and future generations. Our ecolabel and certification program recognises and rewards sustainable fishing practices and is helping create a more sustainable seafood market.

There are currently more than 400 wild-capture fisheries around the world certified to the MSC Fisheries Standard. Thousands of seafood products carry the MSC eco-label, which are available in 100+ countries.
