Presentation
Vow came to light in 2020 when the company Scanship Holding ASA changed its name to Vow ASA. Operating through its subsidiaries Scanship (dating back to 1993) and Etia (dating back to 1989), it is commited to prevent pollution. Its world leading solutions convert biomass and waste into valuable resources and generate clean energy for a wide range of marine applications and land-based industries.

Cruise ships on every ocean have its technology which processes waste and purifies wastewater. Further, with Vow's advanced technologies and solutions, it turns waste into biogenetic fuels to help decarbonize the industry and convert plastic waste into fuel, clean energy and high-value pyro carbon.

Its markets face favourable underlying demand. However, Vow’s niche offering in these industries face even greater demand growth driven by environmental trends and regulatory push factors calling for more sustainable solutions.

Vow is, almost uniquely, a profitable cleantech company, with low investment needs and a capital light business model. With the current setup, track record of securing contracts - highlighted by the backlog growth of >4x over the last four years - and the underlying profitability, it is facing an exciting future.
