Business Sweden, the Swedish Trade and Invest Council, is commissioned by the Swedish government and private sector to help Swedish companies grow global sales and international companies to invest and expand in Sweden.

Our team of industry experts provide advice, information, and tailor-made solutions and support for companies looking to set up or expand business or research activities in Sweden.

Services to new and existing companies include:

- Opportunity identification - advice on business and investment opportunities in Sweden matching business needs

- Market and Industry data and analysis including comparing Sweden to other global investment destinations with cost and qualitative factors to build business case

– Advice and information about the business environment in Sweden and how to set up a business, including tax, banking, R&D, permitting processes, access to finance, visas and skills

- Site selection - identify potential sites, especially where there are large or complex site requirements – site searches, visits and introductions to the local government partners

- Network access - introduction to relevant public and private stakeholders and service providers including potential partners for R&D and Innovation activities

- Expansion & Retention - support after a business has invested in the Sweden to assist with expansion, business case modelling comparing Sweden against other locations, resolve investment environment issues and navigate the investment environment and financial and non-financial incentive schemes
