More and more Electrical Boilers are put into operation around the world, especially in Europe and in New Zealand. The presentation will give a short introduction to the types of electrical boilers and some examples on what issues are seen with the water chemistry right from corrosion to Hydrogen formation and Hydrogen explosion. In IAPWS Electrical Boiler chemistry is now on the agenda and the aim is to produce a future TGD on the subject to guide both Vendors and Operators.
