In March 2020, the Arendal Fossekompani subsidiaries Powel, Wattsight, Markedskraft and Scanmatic merged to combine over 50 years of experience within the European power markets and cleantech industries and formed Volue. Together, Volue serves customers across 44 countries, including some of the largest power producers in the world. Delivering its business-critical services to ~40% of European power exchanges participants, it has a solid footprint on the continent, but is continuously expanding both through organic and inorganic growth. Volue also delivers digitalisation and software solutions to 90% of Norway’s power production and distribution market.

Volue offers wall-to-wall digitalisation and software platforms for the green energy value chain. The product and service portfolio stretches from analysis, insight and forecasting, optimisation of planning and energy production to monetising by trading and settlement. It also provides optimisation tools for power distribution and consumption, as well as infrastructure and construction projects.
