This session explores how AI-based vehicle fingerprinting can create a unique identification reference for each vehicle. By combining license plate geometry with unique visual identifiers — such as stickers, visible damage, roof equipment, special lighting, body modifications, cargo elements, or other distinctive markings — and complementing them with detailed MMR attributes, including make, model, generation, variant, color, and vehicle type, investigators can build a more effective composite vehicle identity.
