Cadeler is an offshore wind farm installation-vessel contractor headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company is a result of Hong Kong based industrial conglomerate Swire Pacific Offshore’s acquisition of Blue Ocean in 2011. BW Group and Swire Pacific are the majority shareholders of Cadeler, which was listed on Oslo Stock Exchange in 2020.

Cadeler currently operates two offshore wind installation jack-ups, the 2012-13 built Wind Orca and Wind Osprey, that are primarily used for installation of offshore wind turbines and foundations. The vessels have installed over 500 foundations and more than 400 turbines historically.

The company has another four large newbuilds under construction at COSCO in China expected to be delivered from 2H'24 . Two of them are "X-class" turbine installation jackups, while the last two are "F-class" foundation installation vessels. Both designs are based on the Gusto NG-20000x design. Cadeler is also upgrading its current operating vessels by replacing the cranes to be able to handle the next generation of turbines.
