Nel is a global, dedicated hydrogen company, delivering solutions to produce, store and distribute hydrogen from renewable energy. The company holds a leading position within hydrogen electrolysis and hydrogen fuelling stations. The electrolyser segment delivers electrolysers for on-site hydrogen production, whereas the fuelling segment involves producing fuel pumps made for refuelling fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). It has manufacturing facilities in Norway, Denmark and the US. With announced expansions, it will reach ~1.2GW production capacity.

Nel has electrolyser experience spanning almost a century, with a history dating back to 1927 when the company was a part of Norsk Hydro. Since then, Nel has continuously developed and improved state of the art hydrogen technologies. In 2014 Nel became the first dedicated hydrogen firm on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
