Enapter AG is a producer of Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysis, which can be used to produce green hydrogen. The technology enables the construction of efficient, cost-effective and standardized electrolysers and stacks, which can be scaled up to larger units according to the principle of modularity. According to the company, its patents and strong in-house research and development capacities give Enapter a sustainable, defendable competitive advantage. The company imitates the development in the computer industry (from the expensive large mainframe to the cheap small PC) and the solar industry (solar modules as an unrivaled cheap commodity) and plans to set up mass production. It has already served over 240 customers in 48 different countries.
