Healthcare systems are under growing pressure to deliver better outcomes with fewer resources. In this pitch, we show how digital treatment can reduce costs while simultaneously improving patient outcomes.By combining clinical expertise with scalable digital solutions, we enable earlier intervention, more efficient care pathways, and better follow-up — leading to measurable improvements for both patients and providers. This is not about innovation for its own sake. It’s about proven impact: fewer hospital visits, more empowered patients, and sustainable healthcare delivery.

Digital triage promises faster, smarter care – but how well does it really work? Behind every accuracy claim lies a maze of methods, metrics, and assumptions that make comparison anything but simple. Our presentation reveal what performance numbers truly mean, and why they often don’t tell the full story.

Work-in-progressAI readiness in healthcare is rarely blocked by models. It is blocked by data quality, hidden assumptions in data preparation and governance gaps that only surface once systems reach production. This interactive workshop helps senior leaders understand how data hygiene, provenance and governance decisions shape AI trustworthiness and regulatory readiness in practice.

Grasp is a new, evidence-based solution that gives patients control and a sense of safety during demanding procedures—without the use of medication. Through active empowerment, Grasp reduces stress, treatment interruptions, and the need for sedation. The result is shorter treatment times, improved patient experience, and more efficient use of healthcare resources. Research shows that Grasp enhances communication, increases patient satisfaction, and frees up time in a strained healthcare system.

ExAC is changing clinical practice in Scandinavia in the treatment of postpartum haemorrhage and bleeding from severe abdominal trauma. This simple, no-cost intervention has been documented for nearly two centuries, yet we were the first to make implementation possible. The problem was never knowledge or technology — it was trust and confidence. We have gained momentum in Scandinavia and are now looking for partners and investors as we prepare to scale into new markets.

As healthcare professionals, we’ve experienced firsthand how inefficient communication in hospitals impacts both patients and staff:Did you know that patients in hospitals have to pull an alarm cord or ring a physical bell when they need help? This means patients cannot communicate their actual needs, leading to interruptions, poor prioritization, and wasted time for nurses.Pling digitizes patient requests by enabling patients to communicate their needs in detail via their smartphones, giving healthcare professionals the insight they need to prioritize tasks, reduce unnecessary walking, and deliver better care.In our clinical observational study at Oslo University Hospital, Pling demonstrated the potential to save approximately 37 minutes per nurse per shift! This results in more efficient workflows, improved patient safety, and a more sustainable healthcare system.

AI that reduces burnout and restores time for care
Medbric has demonstrated the value of letting AI take over administrative tasks in healthcare. Through extensive testing in hospitals and primary care in Norway, we are seeing clear results: less strain on clinicians, better workdays, and faster, better care for patients. And this is just the beginning.
Mirucam – Eye Contact in Digital Patient Consultations

Digital patient consultations make it easier to connect, but something important is often lost along the way—eye contact. When the camera is positioned above the screen, it appears as though we are looking away, even when we are paying close attention. Mirucam is designed to solve this by placing the camera where the gaze naturally falls. This makes consultations feel more natural and strengthens the connection between clinician and patient.

The ASAP Stroke project explores how artificial intelligence (AI) can support early stroke assessment and triage in prehospital settings. The project follows two tracks: traditional AI using structured data such as registry data, vital signs, and clinical observations; and video-based analysis using machine learning (ML) to assess neurological features associated with stroke from patient videos recorded in ambulances. Synthetic video data are used to enable model development while preserving patient privacy, with initial studies demonstrating promising performance in assessing eye movement abnormalities and neglect. By integrating these data sources into an AI-based clinical decision support system (CDSS), ASAP Stroke aims to improve stroke identification, distinguish large vessel occlusions (LVO) and guide optimal care pathways. Overall, ASAP Stroke seeks to strengthen prehospital decision-making, bridge prehospital and in-hospital stroke assessment, reduce time-to-treatment and improve patient outcomes.
