Karolinska University Hospital has worked systematically to develop its capacity for AI in healthcare. This presentation describes how Karolinska approaches AI strategy, what organizational structures have been established to support implementation, and how the hospital works to prioritize initiatives and move AI solutions from pilot to clinical practice. Participants will gain insights into governance models, key enablers and barriers, and lessons learned from building sustainable AI capacity in a large academic hospital setting.
