Föreläsare: Nicoleta J Economou

Spår: FemTech – enhancing womens health using technology

This talk provides a focused overview of where health AI stands today, highlighting persistent disparities in data, development, and outcomes, and the risks these gaps introduce in clinical use, including woman’s health. Nicoleta Economou will reflect on these challenges from both a system perspective and her experience working in AI evaluation and governance, before sharing practical examples of how Duke Health is approaching these issues through real-world use cases. The session closes by emphasizing the need for greater awareness, stronger governance frameworks, and continued progress in developing AI that more reliably supports care for women.
