Gothenburg Centre for Person-Centred Care, Institute of Health and Care Sciences, Gothenburg university and Regional Cancer Centre Stockholm, Sweden
I hold dual affiliations, as a postdoctoral researcher at The Gothenburg Centre for Person-Centred care, Institute of Health and Care sciences at Gothenburg university, and working at the Regional Cancer Centre in Stockholm, Sweden. My key interest in research is person-centred and neuro-oncology care, psychometrics and metrology in the health sciences, patient and caregiver experiences and involvement and the use of patient-reported measures in clinical practice and research. I am also involved in the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO), the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) Quality of Life group and the Swedish National Quality registry for CNS tumours.

Emmelie Barenfeld is a Senior Lecturer at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, and a researcher affiliated with the Centre for Person-Centred Care (GPCC). Her research focuses on person-centred and integrated care from an occupational science perspective, with a particular emphasis on supporting healthcare systems in the transition towards more person-centred and integrated models of care. Her work explores how person-centred practices can be implemented and sustained through leadership, education, and co-created interventions. The research is conducted across diverse care contexts and is characterised by close collaboration and co-creation with people in need of care, health and social care professionals, and leaders.
