Region Skåne has worked systematically to develop its capacity for AI in healthcare. This presentation describes how the region approaches AI strategy, what organizational structures have been established to support implementation, and how Region Skåne works to prioritize initiatives and move AI solutions from pilot to clinical practice. Participants will gain insights into governance models, key enablers and barriers, and lessons learned from building sustainable AI capacity across a regional healthcare system and large academic hospital setting.
