As digital health services become an integral part of healthcare, success increasingly depends on more than price, availability or technology. In areas such as mental health and women's health, use and acceptance are heavily influenced by trust, perceived legitimacy and emotional security.
This panel discussion explores branding as a strategic resource in health technology, with a particular focus on how branding strategy can contribute to trust building, increased use of services, and societal impact. The discussion draws on implemented and evaluated use cases on impact-driven growth and system change.
The session begins with short case presentations that highlight the organizational goals behind key branding decisions, how visual identity, messaging and tonality have been consciously designed to strengthen trust in sensitive healthcare contexts, and what results have been achieved in terms of usage, engagement and acceptance among users.
These include how authenticity can be operationalized in emotionally driven health services, why price and accessibility are not sufficient to build trust in digital health solutions, how branding strategy can support value creation for patients, providers and society, and how purpose-driven brand development relates to measurable outcomes in public health.
