The Nordics are at the forefront of digital health innovation. With some of the world’s most advanced healthcare systems, robust digital infrastructure, and a deeply rooted culture of collaboration and innovation, the region offers a uniquely dynamic environment for health tech and life science companies alike.
Driven by a strong focus on prevention, precision medicine, and research excellence, the Nordic countries are actively shaping the future of healthcare, supported by strong public-private collaboration, world-class research institutions, and vibrant life science ecosystems spanning startups, academia, industry, and healthcare providers.
This session offers a comprehensive introduction to both the Nordic healthcare systems and the broader life science ecosystems in each country. You will gain insights into how the systems are structured, where the real opportunities lie, what challenges to be aware of, and why the Nordics could be your ideal next market.

Vectura
I love Swedish Life Science. I strongly believe that partnerships and ecosystem building is the only way to solve the challenges of tomorrow. As Director Life Science at Vectura Fastigheter, a real-estate company focused on creating innovative spaces in knwoledge-intense environments, I work everyday to strengthen the Swedish Life Science Ecosystem. Some of Vecturas most prominent spaces are Forskaren in Hagastaden in Stockholm, GoCo Innovation City in Gothenburg, Näst in Torslanda and The Loop in Lund.
I have a PhD from Karolinska Institutet and a broad bakground in Life Science, spanning from research to non-profit, medtech, management consulting, investments and trade promotion.
