KEYNOTE: How to Successfully Implement AI in Healthcare – Real-World
Kevin Groot Lipman
There is significant potential for increased use of AI in healthcare, yet few solutions are applied in everyday clinical practice. This keynote describes the journey of bringing multiple AI models from research into fully integrated clinical workflows. Deployed models automatically compute tumor volumes from 3D medical imaging, producing AI‑derived volumes used by oncologists in shared decision‑making with patients. Key lessons learned, critical decisions, and end‑user experiences from the path to clinical deployment are presented.

KEYNOTE: WHAT MAKES US HUMAN? Who cares – in times of global destabilization?
Bengt Kristensson Uggla
This keynote addresses four core concepts—polycrisis, destabilization, decentering, and personhood—shaping contemporary healthcare. Interconnected global crises, cognitive destabilization driven by digital information systems and authoritarian politics, and rapid AI development challenge science, democracy, and conceptions of being human. Person‑centered care is presented as an ethical framework in which AI becomes an integral part of recognizing patients and caregivers as persons.
