Corvus Energy was founded in 2009 and provides purpose-engineered energy storage solutions for marine, oil and gas and port applications. The company pioneered the development in maritime energy storage systems for different vessel types, providing a battery with the desired capacity, low cost and safety level.

Corvus aims at contributing to fuel savings and emissions reductions in maritime industries. Its batteries can be equipped to almost all maritime assets, from rigs to shipping, cruise and fishing vessels, and even subsea assets. The company has also directed its focus to ports, a congestive area often close to populated areas. Here, 20% of diesel fuel emissions are emitted by cranes and container handling equipment such as guided vehicles. Corvus sees this as an opportunity and already has about 70 cranes utilize its energy storage systems, reducing fuel usage by 65%.
