CORE-POWER is a privately held company focusing on marine technology, with offices in London and Singapore. It was founded by Mikal Boe in 2018, which, together with investors from the shipping and finance sectors, are the company’s owners today.

The company wants to achieve a green shipping industry by using nuclear power as the energy system for ocean transportation. By using a reactor called Marine Molten Salt Reactor, it uses chloride or fluoride salts to produce zero-emission energy. Because it uses liquid fuel, it has a function where the system is supplied with a freeze plug and kept cool. CORE-POWER has partnerships with Advanced Reactor Developers.
