AqualisBraemar ASA is a public holding company engaged in marine and offshore operations. Through its subsidiaries and associates, AqualisBraemar offers adjusting, marine offshore and renewables consultancy services to the maritime, energy and insurance industries. The company was established in 2012 by Ferncliff and Strata. AqualisBraemar ASA was previously a part of the listed company Aqualis, which split in two in 2014. After its acquisition of Weifa in June 2014, the pharmaceutical division became Weifa, while the marine offshore division was re-listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker AQUA and became the “new Aqualis” in August 2014. In June 2019, Aqualis acquired Braemar’s Offshore, Marine and Adjusting business lines, creating a leading adjusting, marine, offshore and renewable consultancy with 48 offices in 33 countries.Today AqualisBraemar operates under three distinct brands: AqualisBraemar, AqualisBraemar Yacht Services and Offshore Wind Consultants. Its latter brand is a specialised and globally focused technical advisor, engineering and project management consultancy providing independent services to the offshore wind industry. In August, OWC was awarded the construction supervision contract for two newbuild WTIVs in China, and a framework agreement for engineering support at Shell/EDPR’s Mayflower Wind.
