Founded in 1819, Oslo Børs (Oslo Stock Exchange) is the only regulated market for securities trading in Norway today. Previously one of the few remaining independent exchanges in Europe, the exchange was in 2019 acquired by Euronext.

Oslo Børs offers listing and trading in equities, equity certificates, exchange-traded products, fixed income products and derivatives products in five different marketplaces: Oslo Børs, Oslo Axess, Merkur Market, Nordic ABM and Oslo Connect. The exchange has an important position for companies in the energy, shipping and seafood sectors. Oslo Børs also owns 97% of Fish Pool, an international marketplace for financial salmon contracts.
