Vantage Drilling International is an offshore drilling contractor with headquarters in Dubai and Houston and an office in Singapore. The company was established in 2007 and completed a comprehensive restructuring in 2016. Vantage owns and operates a fleet of three UDW drillships and five premium jackups. Additionally, the company provides preservation management services for third-party drilling units.

The company’s drillship fleet consists of three units built in 2010, 2012 and 2013 at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, of which one is currently drilling, and another will commence a new contract in 2021. The company’s jackup fleet consists of five premium units, which are all built at PPL Shipyard from 2007 to 2009. One of the jackups was acquired in 2018 from Ship Finance. Three of the jackups have contracts, while two finished their contracts in Q2’20.
