Sif Holding is a leading supplier of steel foundations for the offshore wind and oil and gas industry. Founded in 1948, the company has delivered legs, piles and tubulars for numerous major oil and gas platforms, before changing its primary focus to monopiles and transition pieces at the beginning of the new millennium. To date, the company has delivered more than 2,000 monopiles for offshore wind farms. Sif Holding has its headquarters in Roermond, Netherlands and is listed on Euronext Amsterdam.

Sif Holding has two facilities in the Netherlands. In Roerdam, the company has set up two production lines for manufacturing of large monopiles, where plates are rolled and welded together into sections. The sections are then transported to the coast, at Maasvlakte 2 in Rotterdam, where they are welded into monopiles in its final form and paint coated. In addition, Sif Holding has set up one production line for pin piles used for jackets for both offshore wind and oil and gas, and one production line for primary steel for transition pieces. Sif’s offshore wind segment, which accounts for >90% of revenues, delivers XL monopiles, piles for jackets as well as tubulars for gravity-based and suction-based foundations.
