Prosafe is a leading owner and operator of offshore accommodation vessels. The company is the result of the demerger and listing of Procon Offshore on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 1997. The company was renamed Prosafe following the merger with Safe Offshore the next year. The company has been solely focused on accommodation services ever since the floating production division was spun off in 2008. The company is headquartered in Stavanger, Norway, with offices in Scotland, Mexico, Brazil and Singapore.

The company currently owns and operates seven semi-submersible accommodation vessels and one unit modified to operate as a tender support vessel. In addition, the company has an agreement with COSCO shipyard for flexible delivery and long-term financing of two completed newbuild semi-submersible accommodation vessels.
