Questerre is a Canadian E&P company that since 2000 has focused on high impact unconventional oil and gas resources, mainly in Canada and the US. The company currently produces ~2,000 boepd net. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Questerre is dual-listed on the Oslo and Toronto stock exchanges.

Questerre holds assets in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec in Canada, as well as undeveloped oil shale assets in Jordan. The majority of the company’s production comes from the liquids-rich Montney shale play, with ~1,700 boepd produced in Q2’20. In addition, the company has existing production Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Questerre also holds a 100% WI in the 21 Tcf of Utica shale gas discovery in Quebec. The company is optimistic that the ban on fracking could be removed and is currently progressing with its Clean Tech Energy project to responsibly develop the resources.
