Med hjälp av AR-spel och eye-tracking-teknik syftar den till att distrahera, lugna och minska oro vid vårdrelaterade situationer såsom vid nålsticksprocedurer, narkos och tandläkarbesök.Forskning visar att digitala hjälpmedel för distraktion kan vara effektiva för att hjälpa patienter i vården i situationer som kan upplevas som påfrestande, smärtsamma och ångestfyllda. Tillsammans med barnspecialistsjuksköterskan och forskaren Henrik Hjelmgren vid Astrid Lindgrens barnsjukhus och Karolinska Institutet har vi utvecklat distraktionslösningen Divertini för barn som behöver avledning i dessa situationer.Divertini har funnits på marknaden i två år. Under hösten 2024 tog vi nästa steg och lanserade en ny spelupplevelse där patienten styr spelet enbart med eye-tracking – en teknik som gör det möjligt att interagera enbart med ögonrörelser. Leading French manufacturer for 40 years of innovative solutions for medical storage, medication safety, and hospital workflow optimization, PRATICIMA has developed the unique SATELLITE multisensory care trolley for people with mental disabilities. The trolley, working on Snoezelen principles (light, image, sound, smell, touch) requires no installation and move to the patient, rather than the patient moving into the treatment/therapy room. It can be operated by healthcare staff who have not received any special training or by trained occupational therapists with the ability to customize programs.

Radiologists waste time toggling between fragmented systems, reducing efficiency. Current progress in machine learning research, in particular foundation models, offers new perspectives. This talk will address how the seamless measure of context aware, advanced biomarkers, as well as a new multi-modal interface for radiologists, holds the promise of bridging research and care and make precision radiology a reality for patients.
