Carasent is an investment management company with a focus on businesses that develop entrepreneurial and e-health solutions. In May 2018, Carasent acquired Evimeria EMR AB, a company providing eHealth services to over 400 clinic customers in Sweden. Evimeria EMR offers two primary products: Webdoc, a web-based care management system, and Vårdrummet, a digital platform for interactive health care which enables healthcare providers to communicate with patients via digital services. The products are delivered as a SaaS service with a high proportion of recurring revenue. Carasent is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Recent highlights
In Q2, Carasent reported revenues amounting to NOK 32m (17). The largest part of the revenue was related to Evimeria EMR, which generated revenues of SEK 21.7 million, compared to SEK 16.4 million in Q2 2020, an increase of 32% in local currency. EBITDA for Evimeria EMR amounted to SEK 8.8m (6.2), corresponding to a growth of 41% (30.1%). Evimeria delivered a strong inflow of orders during Q2 with 32 new clinics signed and 561 active clinics at the end of the quarter. Furthermore, Carasent acquired Metodika, a leading provider of Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) solutions to hospitals and clinics across Europe.

Outlook
Carasent continues to see a growing demand for their services, with positive reactions from customers to their broadened product offering from recent acquisitions. The company has identified a broad range of strategic opportunities in new geographies, segments and offerings, with a strong rationale, with their pipeline of acquisition targets remaining active.
